Pyramids Lorenz

The company was founded in 1953 by master woodturner Heinz Lorenz. Together with his wife, he first produced small railroads and later specialized in table and wall pyramids. The pyramids are characterized by their special shape, a gothic arch, which sets them apart from other manufacturers. In 1993, the business was taken over by son Peter, who completed an adult woodturning apprenticeship at the company in 1985 and passed his master woodturner’s examination in 1991. Lorenz-Pyramiden is a family-run business and a member of the wood toy makers’, wood turners’ and wood sculptors’ guild and a member of the Erzgebirgischer Kunsthandwerker und Spielzeughersteller e.V. association.

The product range includes several natural-colored chipboard pyramids with different figurines. All products from our company are still lovingly handcrafted and embody the old tradition of Erzgebirge craftsmanship.
