The Emil Schalling Workshop, located in Seiffen, has been founded in 1904 and is especially known for its Angel and Miner figurines, miniatures, Pyramids and doll house furniture.
The Light Angel and the Light Miner are traditional Erzgebirge Figurines, especially during the mining period they became of importance.
For the miner underground, light was indispensable. The longing of the miners for the light was especially great at Christmas time. The light bearers Bergmann & Engel became symbolic figures of the Erzgebirge Christmas.
All figures are lovingly handcrafted from high quality woods and paints. The production in small quantaties guarantees quality at a high level and is characterized by individuality.
Angel and Miner come in different sizes, and they can be purchased individually or in pairs.
