A beautiful Erzgebirge Pyramid spreads warm light throughout the room and adds to the festive atmosphere. They come in different heights, with different scenes, colors and outside shapes. There are Table Pyramids or Floor Pyramids – with one or multiple tiers.
The lit candles generate heat that rises, the tiers slowly begin to turn creating an enchanting play of light and shadow. Some of the newer ones are electric and come with a little motor. But for the most part they are candle operated. Nowadays we even have the tealight operated ones.
Please be aware that operating them involves an open flame, which obviously should never be unattended.
The Emil Schalling Workshop, located in Seiffen, has been founded in 1904 and is especially known for its Angel and Miner figurines, miniatures, Pyramids and doll house furniture.
