In 1996, Volkmar Wagner founded his Wood Turnery in Hainichen near Chemnitz. There the products are made with a lot of passion and attention to detail. The funny snowmen of the D.V.W. Company have long since developed into a collecting phenomenon and are not only very popular in Saxony but all over the world. Every year, the product range is expanded with new characters.
