The Schalling year angel 2025 with its harmonious color composition is reminiscent of the calm and contemplative mood of a “good night”.
Elaborately hand-painted in dark blue and black, he has the silhouette of his home town of Seiffen with the Seiffen church and the Schwartenberg on the base of his dress.

Every year for the past 6 years, Schalling Holzkunst has created a special angel alongside the traditional range. Turned, worked and hand-painted in the traditional Schalling company in the heart of Seiffen, you own a genuine piece of Erzgebirge craftsmanship. “Genuine Erzgebirge – wooden art with heart”.

Schalling’s trademarks are the typical Erzgebirge figures Lichterbergmann & Lichterengel. Light was indispensable for miners underground. The miners’ longing for light was particularly great at Christmas time. The miner and angel light bearers thus became symbolic figures of Christmas in the Ore Mountains.

For generations, Schalling has been manufacturing angels and miners in the original and traditional form.

All figures are lovingly handcrafted from high-quality woods and colors. The production in small series guarantees quality at a high level and is characterized by individuality.
