The motif for 2021 “Vine Leaves” is the first motif to represent the freshness and multifaceted nature of this new edition with its rich, luminous green.
The special feature: with the purchase of each star, the customer supports the planting of a new tree in Germany with €1.75. Down Stars doubles this amount to €3.50. - Moravian stars have been lovingly handcrafted in various sizes and colors for more than 160 years. The custom of putting up Christmas stars with family and friends in order to hang them up on the first Sunday in Advent comes from the East Saxon town of Herrnhut.
- This custom persists to this day and is spreading around the world. Since then, original Moravian Star have immersed apartments and public facilities in a pleasant, warm light.
- The original Moravian star has a diameter of approx. 60 cm/ 23.6 inch. It is made of paper and is only suitable for indoor use. The Moravian Star is delivered in individual parts for self-assembly.
- In addition to 25 prongs – 17 square and eight triangular – the scope of delivery also includes mounting brackets, two spare prongs, a suspension bridge and assembly instructions.
